RSS3, the next-gen Web3 + AI infrastructure, proudly sponsors the 2023 Blockbooster HKU Web3.0 Hackathon in Hong Kong. Along with other leading projects and companies, this partnership aims to accelerate the development of Web3 social applications by leveraging the power of RSS3’s AI and data dissemination technology on blockchains and decentralized networks.
Hosted by the University of Hong Kong, the 3-day Web3.0 Hackathon will commence on April 7th with a focus on the Web3 social applications layer, under the theme “Into the Socialverse”. Co-hosted by BlockBooster, OKX, Gitcoin, and OxU Hong Kong Blockchain Club, the event is set to be a Genesis hackathon. The Hackathon itself is supported by several units of HKU, including the Techno-Entrepreneurship Core, Centre for Asian Entrepreneurship and Business Values, HKU FinTech, among others.
The Hackathon will consist of three main parts: builder-focused workshops, online panel discussions, & project reviews, ending with a Demo Day to showcase the results.
Joshua, the founder of RSS3, will be joining the mentor committee along with other industry-leading experts, including top-ranked degens, founders, and builders in the fields of DeFi, Governance, NFTs, Game/Guild, Security, Smart Contracts, and Data. The workshops will feature leading Web3 social projects such as Mask Network and Galxe.
